Today I’m going to share the bearing burn failure of crusher with you. Bearing burn shows overheating, discoloration and jamming rotation. Let’s analyze its causes and corresponding solutions.

Bearing burn generally manifests as overheating, discoloration and failed rotation. Below are its common causes and handling methods:
1.Too small bearing clearance
Focus on deformed positions to check insufficient clearance, then set proper clearance to prevent repeated bearing burn.
2.Tilted rollers
Abnormal roller movement inside the bearing creates severe sliding friction and heavy abrasion. Optimize bearing assembly process to fix this.
3.Excessive load or over-preload
Preload eliminates clearance under load, yet excessive load accelerates bearing fatigue. Check peripheral design and working conditions, resolve overheating caused by poor lubrication, and avoid positioning errors.
4.Improper lubricant application
Select matching lubricant type and fill sufficient grease to meet bearing lubrication requirements.
