Brief introduction

Plastic shredders (plastic crushers/granulators) are the fundamental main equipment in recycled plastic production lines. They primarily cut and crush various types of waste plastics into uniform granules/fragments, facilitating subsequent cleaning, granulation, and transportation, significantly increasing the recycling value of waste materials. They are widely used in plastic processing plants and recycling plants.

I. Range of Processable Materials: Suitable for various soft and hard plastic wastes: PET mineral water bottles, oil cans, plastic buckets, PVC pipes, PP/PE woven bags, plastic films, injection molding machine heads, scraps, plastic baskets, plastic pallets, and other industrial and domestic waste plastics. Blades and machine models can be selected according to the hardness of the material, accommodating both hard and thin plastics.

II. Working Principle: The motor drives the rotor cutter head to rotate at high speed. The moving blades follow the rotor’s rotation, creating a continuous shearing action with the fixed blades on the cavity, similar to heavy-duty scissors repeatedly cutting the material. Waste material enters the crushing chamber through the feed inlet and is continuously sheared and crushed. A replaceable screen is installed at the bottom of the chamber; only particles smaller than the screen aperture can pass through and be discharged. Material that does not meet the size requirements continues to be cut within the chamber, ensuring uniform particle size. Finished material is discharged via a screw conveyor or blower from below.
