In some regions, temperatures remain high throughout the year. When using our metal crushers, there are several precautions that need to be taken. Let me explain them to you today.
1. Cooling: Store the machine in a cool, well-ventilated area. Regularly clean dust from the motor and casing. Monitor the temperature of the motor/bearings to ensure it remains below 70°C. Avoid operating the machine at full capacity during hot periods.
2. Lubrication: Use high-viscosity lubricant suitable for summer conditions. Pay special attention to lubricating the bearings, gears, and transmission components. Check the lubrication level before operation, and repair any leaks or deficiencies promptly.
3. Component Inspection: Tighten all bolts on the machine frame and adjust the tension of the conveyor belt. Check for wear on blades and screens. Replace them if necessary to prevent overheating due to overload.
4. Electrical Safety: Replace old wiring to prevent water and dust damage. Ensure uniform feeding of materials. Avoid feeding hard or excessive amounts of material to prevent jams or motor damage. Shut down the machine and let it cool down before turning off the power. Clean any remaining debris inside the machine.
In short, everyone should pay attention to the points mentioned above, as this will help extend the machine’s lifespan.
