Shredder reducer is the “heart” of the equipment, which is responsible for converting the high-speed rotation of the motor into low-speed and high-torque output, which directly affects the shredding efficiency and equipment life. Its importance is reflected in:
1. Ensure the stable operation of the shredder to avoid jamming or damage caused by speed mismatch.
2. Adjust the output torque through the reduction ratio to meet the shredding requirements of different materials.

Maintenance points
1. Lubricating oil management
Use 220# gear oil, and keep the oil level at the center line of the oil window. Change the oil every 2000 hours and clean the oil filter regularly.
2. Cleaning and sealing
The fuselage often wipes away dust and oil stains. Check the oil seal and end cover to prevent leakage.
3. Operation monitoring
Check the tightness of bolts before starting the machine, pay attention to the temperature (not exceeding 85) during operation, and stop the machine in time for troubleshooting if vibration is abnormal.
4. Regular maintenance
Check the gear wear every 6 months, and replace it in time if the wear exceeds the standard.
5. Precautions
Avoid cleaning the reducer with high-pressure water gun. When the ambient temperature is lower than 0℃, it is necessary to heat the lubricating oil or use low freezing point lubricating oil. In the same way as the motor and bearing, if there is abnormal noise in the working process of the shredder, or the reducer is hot and the temperature rises, shut down the shredder in time and check it!
