1. Operate the scrap metal shredder in strict accordance with the operating procedures. Before using and operating the waste shredder, make a complete inspection of the technical conditions of all parts of the equipment, and there is no abnormal normal startup operation. When starting work, idle the equipment for 1-2min, check that there is no abnormality in operation, and start normal feeding and processing operations. When adding materials, it must be done at a uniform speed.
2. Confirm the size of the material. The size of the material allowed to be added is different for different models of double-shaft shredders. Therefore, when processing and producing, it is necessary to know the diameter of the inlet of the shredder.
3. Before the materials enter the hopper, please know which materials can’t be shredded. Please consult our professionals for details to avoid damaging the machine. In the process of feeding, if the feeding port is blocked, never clean it by hand, but stop the machine to clean the blockage. Those who use motor power should cut off the power supply before troubleshooting. Fireworks are prohibited in the work site, and it is forbidden to increase output by increasing the speed.
4. Maintenance can’t be ignored. When the metal shredder is in operation, the bearing temperature should not exceed 50 degrees. If the bearing temperature continues to rise under normal working conditions, it should be stopped immediately for inspection, to find out the reason and eliminate the fault. Add lubricating grease to each bearing position regularly.
5. Check the shredder blades regularly, and solve or replace the blades in time when problems are found.
